SSL Certificates
Clarinet is a reseller of several SSL Certificate providers - Thawte, Verisign, Geotrust and RapidSSL. That allows us to offer you the right grade of security to meet your needs and your budget. There are 3 categories of certificate:
- Domain Validated Certficates - ensures privacy of communication, and links the site to the domain holder.
- Domain and Organisation Validated Certificates - ensures privacy of communication, and links the site to the domain holder's organisation (ie company identity is verifed for a match against domain registration.)
- Domain and Organisation Extended Validation Certficates - ensures privacy of communication, and links the site to the domain holder's organisation (extensive company identity checks are conducted, to verify that the certificate is being issued to an authorised officer of the company.)
